8Ball & MJG are a legendary hip hop duo from Memphis (Orange Mound to be exact famous for their smooth Southern rap sound.
Their first album, Comin’ Out Hard (1993), became a classic; go peep the story telling (let my man Zuri tell it, 8Ball is as great a story teller as Notorious BIG (R.I.P.) and whoever else lol).
True Pioneers in the game and in Southern hip hop. Much respect. Salute. (And shout out to the city of Memphis for giving them their flowers while they’re here. They were recently honored with their own intersection in the city)
