This discovery was made through a routine audit of Hasbro’s royalty reports conducted by his company, Johnson Research and Development, according to a Facebook post. The audit revealed discrepancies in the reported sales figures, indicating that Hasbro had not been paying the full royalties owed under their licensing agreement. This led to a legal battle and a $72.9 million settlement in Johnson’s favor.
